Lady Antebellum Discovered

by Mary on November 27, 2009

I’ve been listening to GAC of late on DirectTV channel 326.   I really love ALOT of the music I’m hearing in the country western genre today and wanted to check out some of the videos.

Nashville is sending us some true talent these days, serenading  the masses with soothing  heartfelt melodies  and songs that have a sexy fun beat that lifts my personal tempo.  The songs tell of human emotions we can think about and often relate to, as well as everyday thoughts that tell of life today.   Some of my favorite artists in the Nashville circuits are Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, Sara Evans, Keith Urban …. and now, Lady Antebellum.

Today, music is available through a huge number of avenues.   I can identify a song on the radio, look it up on the internet and play it through my awesome computer speakers.   I wear headphones though so as not to disrupt anyone else in the house.  If I really like the song,  I can decide then to purchase the single online, download it to my MP3 player and take it on the treadmill with me.  Burning it to a disk enables me to enjoy the song in my car.  Technology has been a wonderful vehicle for music in these modern times and I feel very fortunate to be among those who take advantage of it.

“I Run To You” and “Need You Now” are two songs I really love for the harmonizing and beat, as well as the lyrics, and the beautiful vocals and tremendous instrumental harmonies by Lady Antebellum.  They are a relatively new trio of artists in the Nashville music scene that are rising to the top – and they  sound so good to my ears.  So, tonight, I bought an MP3 for 89 cents and have downloaded it.  Lala.com seems pretty hip with all they’ve got to offer,  and they’ve given me a chance to share my new mp3 son on facebook, twitter or my website.

Hey, so let me share these beautiful songs with you.  “Need You Now” and “I Run To You”, both dedicated to my husband Bobby who I love for so many reasons.
